Paid to do nothing
Being a blogger means my life is nice. I don’t work hard, write what I please, do what I feel, and enjoy life. The downside is my finances are like a bad golfer, I never see the green. Ya’ll are all being impacted by the recession, and I’m sayin welcome to my party! Lol. But there are some people who don’t work hard and still pull in a ridiculous amount. Take the CEO of Washington Mutual, Alan Fisherman. Man was on the job for 17 days. Then WaMu went under and the government took over. You know how much Fisherman walked away with? $11.6 milli in addition to the $7.5 milli signing bonus. Almost $20 milli for 17 days of work. Let’s break that down to a per hour basis, because that’s how we poor people like to think. CEOs of a bank prolly work a little bit harder and long than the rest of us (especially in time of crisis) so let’s assume he put in 60 hour work weeks. That’s about 12 hour work days. So total he put in 204 hours of work. $20 milli over 204 hours of work is…lmao. Are you ready? You ain’t ready. Just make sure you’re sittin down. Please. And don’t let this influence your decision on the BOB (bail out bill). Ready? $98,039.22 an hour. Every 2 hours he bought a Ferrari. Could you imagine spending your days like that? Every two hours you buy a Ferrari. Fuckin aye man. There are more rich worthless bastards that you can read about at MentalFloss.com.
