Miss Universe has thoughts...but didn't explode

This is a little out of order but since we are talkin bout The Bay (not S.F., G.B.) I thought this post would be most appropriate. It appears that Miss Universe made a visit down to The Bay and blogged about her experience. Here is an excerpt:

This week, Guantánamo!!! It was an incredible experience.

We also met the Military dogs, and they did a very nice demonstration of their skills.
We visited the Detainees camps and we saw the jails, where they shower, how the recreate themselves with movies, classes of art, books
. It was very interesting.
The water in Guantánamo Bay is soooo beautiful! It was unbelievable, we were able to enjoy it for at least an hour.
I didn’t want to leave, it was such a relaxing place, so calm and beautiful.


Apparently N. Korea doesn’t know what they’re talkin about. Miss Universe thinks it’s a great place. And she’s ruler of the Universe. If the ruler of the Universe thinks it’s a great place, then fuck it, it must be a great place. You can read her entire blog entry here (if it’s still up by the time you read this post). Needless to say The Miss Universe Organization took down her post and did some PR to excuse her ignorance. Gotta love it.
