Ashton is a good guy

Looks like I’ve been a bit too harsh on Ashton Kutcher and I apologize. Here I was thinkin that this whole Twitter thing was just a publicity stunt and held no merit. Well it appears that if Ashton wins, he’ll donate 10,000 mosquito bed nets to charity in honor of World Malaria Day (CNN has said it would match the offer). Granted the World Health Organization says they need about 700 million nets to properly address the malaria epidemic. But nevertheless, Ashton is makin an effort and I applaud him. Also, he stated that he would give his 1 millionth follower Rock Band 2. Electronic Arts (maker of the game) said that if Ashton wins, they’ll put the 1 millionth follower in a video game. That’s a pretty sweet deal. So Ashton Kutcher, thanks for not being a total douche bag. Twit on.

Update: Ashton won, he beat CNN to the millionth mark 30mins before CNN reached it. Congrats.
