I think my dad worked at this school

So there is this story about a reform school for boys that used to beat the shit outta the kids on some bad parenting x1000000 type deal. And the group of men that went to that school, all in their 60s now, wants…I don’t know what. Light to be brought to the matter? Like this is a current issue still goin on? They want the beatings to be acknowledged? I’m all for therapy and lettin go of the past to move on. But why bring it up now? Do they want justice? From who? They are in their 60s. Meanin the people that beat them or allowed them to be beaten are dead. Who do they want to hold accountable? The state of Florida? Most of the people runnin Florida weren’t even born when this occurred. I may seem a bit harsh, but I really don’t understand why they are opening a legal case for it. It sounds like a waste of tax payer’s dollars. And we are in a recession, ain’t no time to be askin for retributions because if that’s what we’re doin then blacks are the first in line. And I know my African ass doesn’t have slave ancestors, but I’ll change my last name to Smith if it helps. Thompson? How bout Freeman? Hahahahahahaha.
