Man who killed pitcher pleads not guilty

Call me old fashioned but I think when you kill someone WHILE committing a crime, death is the only punishment. Like if he was driving, spilled some coffee on himself, looked down to clean it and ran over a kid, then yeah, put him in jail for a while. But if he was DRUNK or SPEEDING and then ran over the kid, then death is the only option. The reasons they put (most) laws in place is to keep you from hurting others and vice versa. This man had a BAC of three times the allowed level and still decided to get behind the wheel. Now, I’m not gonna pretend I’m almighty and haven’t drank and driven (is that the proper past tense? Fuckin English language) but I certainly shy away from doing so and I make sure I stop drinking an hour before I get behind the wheel. I know when too much is too much. Then again, Andrew Gallo is only 22, so he’s might not be too sure when too much is too much for him. I guess some of us learn the hard way. So then the question is death a bit harsh for a person who is only 22? Who is still learning? My response is he killed 3 people. Most people that get put to death just kill one (depending state laws).
