Specter thinks GOP should be worried
As many of you should know by now Gov. Arlen Specter switched from the Republican Party to the Democrat party. I really didn’t talk much about it because at the time I couldn’t think of anything worth mentioning. Granted Gov. Specter is a LONG time Republican that was respected on both sides (now just the Democratic side), so it’s not like any old Republican is jumpin ship. He was more like the first mate; been on the ship forever but was never made captain. And it makes me wonder, how BAD of a taste did the last administration leave in everyone’s mouth? I mean people were droppin left and right from the Republican camp. The most notable was Ret. General Powell. When he (unofficially) switched camps and said he was voting for Obama, that was kinda a big crack in the dam. But there have been other fissures before, such as former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld when he stepped down from his position. It may not seem like a big deal, but if you look at how many people had to step down durin the last administration, it’s kinda worrisome. Are the Republican agendas becomin too much for their followers to swallow? Are they startin to realize the Kool-Aid they drink has no sugar? Another thing I’d like to point out is how DELIGHTED some Republicans are at the bad vetting job Obama has done with the people he nominates for positions. Granted most of his nominees had some kinda tax evasion hang up or some other stupid reason to decline. But you know what? The last administration hired people that were TREMENDOUS fuck ups. I wish some of the people that were hired during the last 8 years had came forward and were like ‘no, I can’t take this job due to xyz.” Who knows how much better off this country woulda been

for all intents and purposes there is no difference between dem's and rep's, this is pretty much just fodder for the cable news stations. I just wish they would report REAL issues.
