This is an issue bigger than Chris Brown and instead of askin about his involvement in the dispute, ask him about what he’s doin to make the issue of domestic violence more known (some of the proceeds from his new tour are going to nonprofit that helps victims of domestic violence). New Windows 7 just came out…and of course it failed. It appears that students who upgraded online ran into some issues if they were running a 32-bit machine. Long story short, another point for Mac. And I’m not a Mac user. I haven’t taken a bite of the tainted Apple (pun intended). I just know that Macs have the same issues a PC does (just not as frequent). But if you gave me $2500 (the cost of a Mac Pro) to build you a PC, please believe that will be the best PC you’ve ever used in your life. And that’s what Mac users don’t understand. This isn’t like buying a Toyota Camry instead of a Ford Taurus. This is like buying a Mercedes S-Class instead of a Taurus. If you invested the S-Class money into the Taurus, you’d get the same quality and more. Anyways, I’m done with Vista. Hated it from the day I installed it. I will most likely be buying Windows 7 (got that family hoooook up!) but not until Service Pack 2 comes out lol. Never buy a Windows OS until Service Pack 2 is out.

So the big news last week was President Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize. And of course the Obama haters decried the award and said he didn’t deserve it and all this hateful stuff. If he could bless contaminated water and make it drinkable, people would complain that he is changing the ecosystem and that the animals that depend on that bad water are more important than the people who could drink the good water. They fault him not doin anything, they fault him for doing somethin. What the fuck is the man supposed to do? Everything he does and doesn’t do is a problem for people. A guy who has been at a job for about 10 months has been placed under the highest scrutiny. He shoulda just got a CEO job at a bank and collect the $50+ million retirement package instead. I don’t know anyone with their regular day-to-day job that is put under this amount of pressure in their first 10 months. If they were I’m pretty sure they’d be fired by now. “Yes, our company is on the brink of collapse, we are in debt, and our employees are divided due to multiple issues including health. Our competitors are making gains on us, the world doesn’t trust us, but we expect you to hit the ground running and turn all this around before the year ends. Thanks.” You people are stupid. Anyways, I personally don’t believe he deserves the award…it’s just too soon. Nominations were in by February 1st and he had only been President for 12 days. I guess the nominators HOPEd that Obama’s promises of hope would actually happen. I think it’s a silly gesture. But even though I don’t think he deserved the award I don’t think that it warrants hateful discussion (or any real discussion, the point of my post is about how people want Obama to fail) about it. Calling the Peace Prize a joke or sayin that Obama has been totally useless is the shit we don’t need right now. I really would have liked for him to win it 8 years down the road so that during his acceptance speech he can give a shout out to all you haters. Maybe he’ll throw in “suck it” or “now ya’ll can sit on my dick and spin” in his message.

I’m all for the iPhone apps and the amazing ability it has given the phone to go from just making calls, to pretty much doing ANYTHING you need it for (girls, I’m workin on a vibrator app so that you can get your freak on discreetly). But the problem is that it is kinda getting outta hand and I’m just worried about when it will infringe on someone’s privacy. There is an app to find registered sex offenders in your area. That’s cool. Prolly helps a lot of parents to sleep at night. But I’m wondering what other crime fighting apps are there? Is there a hit and run app? Takes the picture of the car leaving the scene then sends it to all patrol cars in a 10 mile radius? That’s kinda gangsta…copyrighting that too bitches!!! Ok, so the snitching apps might be a cool thing (not for me though, I don’t condone snitching) but what happens if someone decides to make a “neighborhood whore” app? And it lists all the girls in the area that like to fuck? Damn, I wish I had that app in high school…Ok, Apple won’t sell it on iTunes store, but what about those jail broken phones with jail broken apps? What’s to stop someone from creating that (outside of legal repercussions, but I’m pretty sure there are loop holes to keep them from going to jail)?
