So the big news last week was President Obama winning the Nobel Peace Prize. And of course the Obama haters decried the award and said he didn’t deserve it and all this hateful stuff. If Obama healed the sick by touching them, people would complain he is disrupting natural selection. If he could bless contaminated water and make it drinkable, people would complain that he is changing the ecosystem and that the animals that depend on that bad water are more important than the people who could drink the good water. No matter what Obama does, people complain. They really want to see him fail. It’s pathetic. It’s only in America can you show such disdain for a leader who hasn’t really fucked up. They fault him not doin anything, they fault him for doing somethin. What the fuck is the man supposed to do? Everything he does and doesn’t do is a problem for people. A guy who has been at a job for about 10 months has been placed under the highest scrutiny. He shoulda just got a CEO job at a bank and collect the $50+ million retirement package instead. I don’t know anyone with their regular day-to-day job that is put under this amount of pressure in their first 10 months. If they were I’m pretty sure they’d be fired by now. “Yes, our company is on the brink of collapse, we are in debt, and our employees are divided due to multiple issues including health. Our competitors are making gains on us, the world doesn’t trust us, but we expect you to hit the ground running and turn all this around before the year ends. Thanks.” You people are stupid. Anyways, I personally don’t believe he deserves the award…it’s just too soon. Nominations were in by February 1st and he had only been President for 12 days. I guess the nominators HOPEd that Obama’s promises of hope would actually happen. I think it’s a silly gesture. But even though I don’t think he deserved the award I don’t think that it warrants hateful discussion (or any real discussion, the point of my post is about how people want Obama to fail) about it. Calling the Peace Prize a joke or sayin that Obama has been totally useless is the shit we don’t need right now. I really would have liked for him to win it 8 years down the road so that during his acceptance speech he can give a shout out to all you haters. Maybe he’ll throw in “suck it” or “now ya’ll can sit on my dick and spin” in his message.

Only in America can you make a poll about killing your leader

I think the idiot that created the poll should be arrested. If he can’t be put on trial for making threats to the President then how bout sentencing him for stupidity? With all the racism that has been spewed from just about everyone since January, WHY the fuck would he think this poll was a good idea? I want his or her name to be released. I know I just spoke on privacy issues, but this is more of a punishment rather than figuring out if the person is a whore. I want their life to be miserable for this mistake. I know we all make mistakes, but this is just a terrible lapse of judgment. Why would you even think about the leader of your country being killed…correction, because a lot of people don’t like their leaders. So why would you discuss it in a public forum? If you and your redneck, tea bagging friends want to have private convos on killin the President, that’s your Right. But don’t pull no stupid shit and be shoutin it in public. I mean Facebook is about as public as it gets. More people check FB than the fuckin news for cryin out loud.

Crazy Republicans heckle the President

LMAO, I love it. You know when someone is talkin and you don’t believe them so you cough out “bullshit”? That’s EXACTLY what Rep. Joe Wilson did. Except he didn’t cough loud enough. I thought the speech was good, Obama made some keys points. However, I’m more of a doer rather than talker. This means that Obama’s plan needs to go into action and garnish positive results before I stand up and applaud after every key point he makes. Seriously, those people were up and down, up and down. I woulda been annoyed like “yo, sit ya’ll asses down till he finished.” I do wish that people would cheer like that when I enter a room. I might have like a motion activated sound system so that every time I walk into my bedroom, the sounds of cheering and applauding go off. Matter of fact, it would yell first “Ladies and Gentleman…THE MANDINGO WARRIORRRRRRRRR!!!” lmao. Imagine bringin a girl home to that…priceless.

So I’m here in Seattle again. This time the weather is a bit LA-ish with more sun and less rain. Still, I’m annoyed. With the world in general I guess. Obama might not be Prom King

It appears that President Obama is losin some popularity. The current health care reform hasn’t made him a favorite in the house hold. I personally think that while the current bill is very expense, somethin needs to be done. We need to take care of our sick. It kinda does surprise me that his approval ratings have dropped. I mean 7 months into the year and we’re still around!!! This was supposed to be a 1 round knockout but thanks to the swift actions of Obama and his crew, we are still afloat. How can people not recognize that and approve of the job the President is doin? I mean look at all the different agendas he’s attacked in 7 months. What did Bush attack? Iraq. And that’s what got us into this mess. I can’t wait till Obama turns the country around and goes down as one of the greatest Presidents of all time.

Obama calls Cambridge cops stupid

Even with a Harvard education, it still isn’t easy being black in America. I wonder if Soledad O’Brian covers that in her Black In America series. Racial profiling is still a huge issue with this country. You look at an incident like this and it’s no wonder minorities don’t cooperate with the police. Gates even said that the police report isn’t completely truthful in what happened durin the arrest. Obama said that race relations have come a long way which I can agree with. However, I kinda feel it has made society a bit more dangerous. It’s easier to anticipate the actions of someone when you know what they are thinkin. It’s easier for me to deal with a racist prick if I know that they are racist when I meet them. However, it’s harder to deal with a closet racist. The person that will smile in your face and pat you in the back, all the while tryin to undermine you. I believe that the government should be unbiased and provide equality for all (yeah, when pigs fly) but I think individual beings should be who they are. If you won’t let me come over durin football games because you think I’m gonna “case” your home, then don’t come over to my cubicle and make small chat. Don’t sit with me at lunch just so that you can find ammo to use when you make jokes about me to your spouse. If you racist, be racist and stay to yourself. If the Klan didn’t use violence I wouldn’t have a problem with them. They just keepin it real (real ignorant, but that’s neither here nor there).

President Obama will be throwin out the first pitch at this year’s All-Star game in St. Louis. You know, this nigga plays a lot of games and goes to a lot of sportin events. Doesn’t he understand the dire state that the country is in? What is with all the lollygagging? Stop bullshitin and get on your job Mr. President. Jeez. Everytime I hear about Obama in the news it’s always sports related. I guess if it means him not havin an affair, I can settle for that tradeoff. Seriously though, I don’t give a fuck what he does to wind down. If you feel stressed at your job, then multiple it by 100 then work for 5 other companies at the same time. That would equal the amount of stress Obama is goin through right now. You remember in cartoons where the villain has the train (or bus or any vehicle) headin towards impending doom but they bail out at the last second, leavin the hero to save the lives of people that could be killed in the crash? That’s how I feel the Bush administration left the country to Obama. They put it on a collision course and at the last minute grabbed the last parachute and told Obama “good luck my nigga” and hopped the fuck out. I think a lot of people don’t realize that and that’s why they don’t think he’s doin a good job.

Russia will most likely keep its nukes

President Obama was in Moscow yesterday tryin to repair damaged relations with Russia. And also to see if they would halt any stock piling of nuclear weapons. Russia pretty much said fat chance. I was around for the Cold War but too young for it to really affect my everyday living. What I do recall from history books is that the U.S. lost its leverage on the world when the former USSR acquired nuclear technology. Everybody was scared that a nuclear holocaust would occur and blah blah blah. More scare tactics. I look at nuclear technology as Pandora’s box. The U.S. opened it up and now wants to close it, but the damage has been done. You can’t introduce such a destructive weapon and then expect countries without buyin power to not want it. If you want the world to stop building nukes, then you nullify the threat by NOT being scared. What the U.S. should be doin (and they prolly have with alien technology) is creatin an anti-nuclear missile. I know Ronald Regan did the whole “Star Wars” thing which upped our missile defense technology but we should have somethin in place that if a missile was fired towards our country, it could be nullified before it left the country that fired it. Then we could go to other countries and say “hey, build all the nukes you want. Hell, here are the ingredients and instructions. Then we DARE you to fire one at us.” Countries will build a couple but in the back of their minds they will be thinkin “What the hell has the U.S. cooked up this time?” No leader wants to be known as the leader who got his country blown off a map so most likely everyone will just chill out. Nobody will continue to build nuclear weapons because they’ll realize that they have to properly store this radioactive device and eventually destroy it because it will be useless against the U.S.

Republicans think Obama needs to be President of the World

People like Bill Bennett are who ruined our country to begin with. NO WE SHOULDN’T BE IN IRAN MARCHING WITH THEM! NO WE SHOULDN’T BE SUPPLYING GUNS AND STAGING A COUP! This is somethin that the Iranians are gonna have to work out on their own. If we go in there and start protestin, then Ahmadinejad gets taken out, everyone will say it was the U.S. doing. If we sit back and let him get taken out, then democracy (if that’s what you wanna call it) won the battle. I like how some Republicans want the Supreme Leader to void the elections and have a new one. Where were ya‘ll at when Bush stole the 2000 elections? Everyone demanded a recount but nobody stepped up to do it. As long as there is power involved, there will always be corruption. The (new blood) Iranians are learnin that now and hopefully will figure out a way to combat it when the next elections occur.

If I said it once, I’ll say it again: white people just don’t get it. Sherri Goforth, executive assistant for Sen. Diane Black (Tennessee) sent an email containing the picture of the Presidents of the United States seen below.

Maybe Sherri isn’t racist. Maybe she just tasteless. She for sure is an idiot for sending it THROUGH HER WORK EMAIL TO OTHERS WORK EMAILS! I could see how someone could get a chuckle outta this…but they can’t be Republican. But yet time and time again, Republicans make these ‘color’ jokes like they gained a right to do so. Anyways, the thing that actually did piss me off was Sherri’s excuse. She claims that she sent it to the ‘wrong list’ of people. THAT statement right there indicates more racism than the picture. I understand we all have a circle of friends where we share inside jokes. I mean, if I shared half my jokes with you guys, you’d prolly stop readin. Anyways, some people think she should be fired. I think that’s too far. It’s not like she’s burning crosses (that we know of). But to send an email like that in a government position? Maybe she should be moved to a different department.

N. Korea is actin tough

Reports are comin in that N. Korea is makin progress with their nuclear program. Last month’s test resulted in an explosion of several kilotons which seems like enough to rain on anybody’s parade. News like that helps me to sleep better on the west coast. I think that’s why Obama has decided to soften America’s image. He is movin us away from the “meddle in everyone’s affairs because we are bigger and stronger than you” to the “America respects all governments even if we have different ideals” country. Some (see: GOP knuckleheads) think that this approach makes us more susceptible to attacks. I think if there are any groups that wanna cause us harm, they are gonna do it whether we come out beating our chests or talkin softly. The problem is information is too readily available. We can’t bluff like we used to. Everyone knows our financial woes. Everyone knows how we fucked up in Iraq. Of course there are things that they DON’T know but what they don’t know won’t stop them from attackin us. And what they don’t know won’t stop them from preparing themselves. I think that Obama’s approach helps because it brings everyone’s guard down. When former President White Devil was in office a lot of world leaders were on edge worried about which country would the U.S. invade next in the name of “fighting terror”. And if you’re being accused of harboring terrorist, you’re gonna do what you need to in order to protect your country (like testing missiles and nuclear weapons). Do I think we should allow Iran and N. Korea to have nuclear programs? Eh, I’m not in bed with the leaders and don’t know their true intentions. But I don’t think makin threats or using sanctions and embargos is the way to go. I’m more of a “speak softly and carry a big stick” diplomat. And the quote is a West African proverb. Them blackies are so smart!

The Israelis really aren’t a fan of Obama it seems. Right after his Middle East visit where he basically told the Jews to find a spot and sit down, there has been a lot of hate bein spewed his way. Now it appears that a picture of him has added to that flame. Seen below is a supposed picture of President Obama on the phone with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

A lot of Israeli newscasters are in a tiff because the sole of Obama’s shoe is showin. They are basically implyin that President Obama is tryin to disrespect the Prime Minister. Now I don’t have many Israeli readers on the blog, but at AllVoices I do. So can ya’ll let me know if this is fact or fiction? Are ya’ll REAALLY mad at this photo? If so, you’re off base to the nth degree. First off, how do you know who Obama is talkin to? He could be orderin a pizza as far as you can tell. Oh, because someone in the White House confirmed who he was talkin to you gonna run with it? Maybe at the time he wasn’t even talkin to the PM, maybe he was talkin to an American friend that happened to be at the PM’s house at the time. And even if he was talkin to the PM, it wasn’t a video conference. It’s not like Netanyahu could see the sole of Obama’s shoe. If you guys are really up in arms, just be real about it. You mad Obama didn’t tell the Muslims to leave. Just say it. Don’t say “oh, look at how he talks on the phone with people. So casual, so rude.” If the cameras weren’t in there he prolly woulda been gettin a blow job while on the phone because that’s what people in power do. At least that’s what I do when I’m on the phone talkin to someone important.

President Obama plays diplomat in the Middle East

President Obama did his dance and jig for the Middle East yesterday (transcript here). Like everythin Obama does the media loved it, the Republicans hated it, and the people are mixed. I personally am not too attached to the 2nd Holy War that is occurring over there. They were fightin before Obama came into power and they’ll be fightin after he leaves. Some niggas just like to fight and I think that’s the case with the Jews and Muslims. I think I’m gonna get some hate for quotin President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (cause apparently he’s the next great thing since Hitler) but since it was Europeans that killed and displaced the Jews, why haven’t they been given some land to settle at and call home? Why does people in the Middle East have to give up their home to people that have been displaced for ages? Well I can think of two reasons. The first being is Europe has an issue with fixing their screw ups, I mean look at Africa. So much for bringing new technology and educating the people. Second reason is because the Israelis won’t recognize any other home besides Jerusalem. Which is kinda sad. You've lost your home (again), maybe it’s time to move on. I’m pretty sure a lot of African slaves woulda loved to go back home, but they couldn’t. So instead they made the best of what they had and settled in America. I think it’s time for the Israelis to stop tryin to take over the entire Gaza and just be happy with the area they got. In President Obama’s speech he basically said “because I owe the Jews nothin (till next election, and maybe not even then if he secures the Latino votes), we are going to take a diplomatic approach to this fighting. Israelis, find a seat and sit your ass down. Enough of this musical chairs. Pick a spot to settle and settle. Palestinians, stop throwin rocks and killin people.” Like I said before, not sure if this method will work but I guess being the Police of The World means we have to pretend to do our jobs.
