Brasilian student expelled and reinstated...stupid

Ok, I don’t understand why this is news. ANYWHERE!! It shouldn’t be news in Brasil and it certainly shouldn’t be news in America. So she wore a short dress…in Brasil. That’s like a black man gettin arrested in Africa for being black. It’s the fuckin norm out there! I guess her actions in class (hiking up her skirt, twirling around on a pole (why is there a pole on campus? Lamp post maybe?) ) are what got her expelled. Obviously the school doesn’t want her practicing for work while on campus. This just goes to show how bored I am with the world, that I’m even discussing non events. Sigh.

Kids don't know who the first President was

Our kids are stupid…duh. What the fuck do you expect when you spend more money on fighting wars than education? And I don’t blame Bush, Republicans, or any one person in the demise of the quality in education today. Even as a young baby blogger I remember how schools would have to cut funding for certain programs. The way they were cutting funds back then, I’m truly surprised that we even have school buildings. I would have thought by now that everyone would be home schooled and work packets would be sent to the children’s homes and if the parents helped them that would be an added bonus. Our lack of education is what has really knocked our country down a couple notches on the leader board for powerful 1st world countries. We don’t develop and create things like we used to. We focus on makin more money than we need and have shifted away on developing things for the reason of social advancement. To say our future is doomed is probably a gross understatement. Hopefully Obama will be able to push for some kind of educational reform durin his next term (lol, oh yeah, he’s comin back).

The government has failed our kids

Sigh. I hate the U.S. government. And I feel terrible for Obama. Imagine if all Obama did was read the Rant for his news. He’d prolly quit his job seein how bad the world is that he has to face. He lives and breathes this shit every day, all day. But you gotta love capitalism. I blame capitalism because capitalism is a way of sayin “Greed is good”. And everyone knows what happens to a greedy person…And we can see what is happening to a greedy America. They’ve taken money right out of the kids mouths (and brains). If the education system fails, what next? I already think kids are gettin dumber by the minute and these old folks with the old money are gonna die soon, so who is gonna take over in their place? Their dumb grandkids? What’s the solution? If we get rid of the government completely (and let people rule), that will be disastrous so throw that solution out the window. If things keep progressing the way they are (which they most likely will since people are a creature of habit and don’t welcome change), America will hit a rock bottom that they’ve only read about in history books (if the older folks are still alive, the younger ones didn’t take history since it couldn’t be funded). Only from there will a new style of government emerge which finally puts the people first. And I don’t mean that in a socialist “service to the people” kinda way. And I don’t mean it in a capitalist “allow the people to do whatever they want” kinda way either. I think it will be a hybrid. A pure and true one. It will last for about 100 years and then déjà vu, lol. People are habitual. Someone is gonna want more power or more money eventually and bring the empire back down.

The U.S. has decided that the education of Palestinians is more important than the education of American citizens. Or at least that’s what the commentators on the article would have you believe. Secretary of State, Hilli Clinton, has announced that in addition to the 900 million we send in aid to the Palestine, the United States will also throw in a million dollars in scholarships for Palestinian students seekin a higher education. At first it kinda bothered me, and if I wrote this post 6 hours ago my view woulda been more of the “how you gonna send non-Americans to school and not work on the students in America? What kinda bullshit is that?” Then I realized two things. We are already sending them $900 million. What is an extra $1 million? Like really, now we’re sending them $901 million dollars. I’m seriously not trippin off of that. Considerin how much we spent on supplying weapons to the Middle East, troops, and other backdoor shit nobody talks about, we can give an extra one milli to do somethin POSITIVE. I’d rather have them be educated and be allies down the road rather than get their schoolin from their Taliban uncles. Secondly, $1 million isn’t gonna help our education system here. The lottery gives millions of it’s earnings towards the education system and you see what great it’s done. The problem with our education system is that nobody values it! And why would they in a capitalist market? I don’t necessarily need an education to make the big bucks, just an entrepreneurial spirit and that you can’t learn in a classroom. Havin an education HELPS, but is not the end of all means in this country. Not when you have athletes makin 7-8 figures a year to catch a ball (with the use of steroids). Not when you have someone who brings their camera to spring break and then record girls takin their shirts off and then sell the videos to make millions. Not when you can be dirt poor, marry a rich guy, divorce him, and take half of HIS money. No. In America, an education comes second. Why do you think Oprah built a school in South Africa rather than her own backyard in Chicago? Because those girls WANT to learn. They don’t want to get knocked up by the top drug dealer and become his main bitch. So give the extra mill in scholarship money away, at least I know that my grandkids will be able to visit the country safely and communicate with the locals. Oh yeah, English is the official language of the world lol.

I think the last administration thought that since we’d elected an idiot for a President, not once but TWICE, then improving school systems wasn’t a priority. Why? Because you obviously don’t need a lot of education to be elected President. And if you don’t need education to be President, then hell you don’t need education for any position in America. That’s a pretty good rationale but the old heads…pretty good.
