Porn and politics

Um, well. I guess no money is being wasted and it is bringin more attention to politics, so no harm no foul. The smart guy that they were talkin to brought up a point which I wasn’t too clear on, so instead of watchin the video again I’m gonna assume what I heard and run with it, capiche? He mentioned somethin about ‘family values’ and made it seem like Stormy wouldn’t have a leg to stand on when the topic is approached. A politician with family values is like a referee with great eye sight. We know that they have it otherwise they wouldn’t be hired for the job they are in, but you’ll often catch them makin a bad call. You didn’t like that analogy? Too bad, it’s my show hoe! Seriously, the only politician with family values is Obama, and I’m just waitin for the day his bastard son comes forth and just throws this country in a loop (I already have the post ready, I just need to hit ‘Publish’ lol). I don’t think a porn star is any more immoral than the politicians that fuck them (or pretend to be fuckin em while watchin the porn on their iPods). At least we know the porn star’s dirt up front and can make a clearer judgment than some balding white man who likes used gym socks stuffed in his mouth when being whipped. The only thing I would have against a porn star running is their general lack of IQ. Not sayin that they are all dumb but eh, I don’t think havin them manage anything is a good idea. Then again…we did have former President White Devil run the country for 8 years and that muthafucka had to be the stupidest sonbitch I’d done ever seen (that’s how they say ‘sonvabitch’ in Texas. I know because Stone Cold said so).

Proud to be Republican

Speakin of Republicans. Well watch this first:

And then this:

Sick. That’s all the Repugnanticans have been doing is using fear and hate to muster votes. Callin up these cow tippin buffoons and spreadin lies. Yesterday I got a call sayin that “Obama wants to eat your babies for dinner with bin Laden.” See, I knew they were lyin cuz I don’t even have babies (but my boy Keith better hide his newborn). Could you imagine being a Dem in one of those types of areas? It would be like livin in Afghanistan. One wrong comment and DEATH is at your door.

Win, lose, or draw this is the best election ever in modern times. For one it showed white people somethin us colored folks knew for a while: RACISM IS STILL ALIVE. Racism has a better heart than Dick Cheney and is most certainly gonna outlive McCain. Also this presidential race has inspired most black people that slowly but surely we will be respected and held as equals in this country.

And I really hope Obama wins for all the obvious reasons and also because it will set a precedent on campaign tactics. Future candidates will know that you don’t have to divide people in order to win. You don’t have to use fear and hate to get people to rally with you. McCain wants to talk about Obama’s association with terrorists when he associated with the biggest one in this country.

The Good

I didn’t see the debates and after hearing about it, don’t plan on watchin it. Obama won according to most (big surprise), but McCain actually showed some fire and desire to win this election. Heard he was really playin offense, instead of just being offensive. One thing that has caught the media’s attention was the mentioning of a Joe the Plumber. A guy that is in line to make $250K a year and is worried about having to pay more taxes. I found a CNN article about it and when I find these articles I usually just jump to the comments because I love to hear other people’s views on things. One commentator said that he is an accountant and prepares taxes for people. Now I don’t know how true or not this is but the way businesses work it makes sense, but they wrote “that a business owner doesn't pay tax on his gross income, only on his net profit. If Joe the Plumber owned a business that makes $250K a year, he could deduct the costs of labor (he had to hire a couple of plumbers), equipment, materials, supplies, office rent, utilities, auto expenses, insurance, licenses, travel and entertainment and a whole lot of other business expenses. After all the business deductions, he might end up paying less income tax than most people who got paid a straight wage or salary of $250K.” Now, the handle the person choose was LA Accountant so it’s likely he was a Dem and his view is skewed, but it sounds legit (anyone care to debunk this?). Another comment I liked was “I love that the Republicans choose a guy who doesn't want to pay higher taxes if he makes over $250,000 a year as their every guy. What state of delusion do you have to be living in to think this is somebody that the rest of us can sympathize with? Then I turn on the TV set today and find out average Joe, Joe the Plumber doesn't even make anywhere near the amount of money he doesn't want taxed, is this really the best McCain can do for raising an actual issue? Get some delusional wannabe Rockefeller to waste the country's time during the final Presidential debate with a hypothetical non-issue?” Most plumbers make around $45K. What frustrates me is how people can’t (won’t) comprehend the whole issue with taxes. They suck (the taxes), I know. I look at my check (actually I stopped lookin because it pisses me off) and say, “wow, is the Vaseline Uncle Sam used to rape me with a deductable?” But on the same token, what are we gonna use to raise money for our country? The fuck up that was elected twice has spent soooooooooooo much money, that the only way to make it back is to raise taxes. What? You want America to hold a bake sale? A raffle? Maybe we’ll raffle off one of our nukes, that’s a great idea. Oh, maybe we’ll export some of our goods and services…wait, what do we make again? We should sell off Mexicans, lol. That’s our best commodity, because nobody works harder than a Mexican!

The Bad

Then, there was this comment: “If you want to make more money - get an education and you will. Why should the people who studied hard in school, drove themselves to succeed and then work 12 hour days to make the money they want so that they can enjoy the luxuries they earned have to start subsidising someone else who: chose to get married and start a family before they could affort to, had a kid or two before they were married, quit school to work so they could buy a car, or whatever BS they did. Sorry - I haven't seen one situation where welfare caused someone to work harder. Neither will socialism.” Not only was it outta context (we talkin but taxes here dummy), but it annoys me when people blame the government for the actions of people. Welfare wasn’t established to create stay at home moms; it was created to TEMPORARILY help people who didn’t have the means of financially supporting themselves. But of course, it was exploited and abused by the people it was designed to help. That’s human nature, to find a shortcut. To make life easier. To “beat the system.” The brain is designed to figure out the easiest way to preform tasks. Hell, that’s how I graduated college. I would still be an undergrad if I didn’t learn some tricks to help me ease through and graduate on time. Everyone always complains when the government tries to help out the less fortunate, but nobody ever cares when the wealth exploits the poor. “They worked hard for their money.” Yeah fuckin right. Nobody is out there complaining for the Wal-Mart employees who are ON welfare because the company pays them as little as possible but yet the Waltons are the richest, correction, wealthiest people in America. McCain said, Obama wants to take Joe the Plumbers money and spread it out to everyone but he wants Joe to spread his money as he sees fit. Well what happens when Joe becomes Scrooge and decides not to? ANNNND. When you do spread your wealth around, the government gives it back to you. That’s why ALL donations are tax write offs. That’s how the wealthy keep the government off their back. That’s why wealthy people aren’t really complaining about payin more taxes; they already know how to get it back.
