Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow. I’d sue the shit outta GSK. Then I’d request that anyone at GSK be fired!!! Except employees with a blog about parenthood, because it takes a person that writes about his or her family to show the necessary compassion in creating a drug. How scary and sad is that? I pretty sure some stem cell procedure could cure her but our country is sorely lacking behind in that area of science…like every other area compared to the rest of the world.

Health insurers make me sick, ironically

It appears that health insurers used to drop women from their coverage if they were a victim of domestic violence. Maybe that’s why Rihanna ain’t wanna say shit!!! DOMESTIC VIOLENCE???? That’s like sayin “damn bitch, you can’t fight so we can’t cover you because you probably wouldn’t be able to fight off any illness.” Like the woman hasn’t already been slapped in the face, she gets slapped again by losing her insurance. And they call it a “pre-existing medical condition”? Wow. This is what a capitalist market does. It forces people to be cruel all for the dollar. You’d think that insurance companies would offer additional benefits to battered women like reconstructive surgery, face transplants, etc. Everyday corporate America surprises me with another despicable action.

Or they could just place a doctor at the rims shop. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, sorry. The Tuskegee experiments. Damn. Brief history on that black eye (pun intended) the U.S. government suffered. During the 1932 and 1972, the U.S. Public Health Service purposely infected about 400 black men with the syphilis disease. Not only did the infect them, but they didn’t let the men know what they were infected with, and didn’t give them any medication. The men ended up giving it to their wives and their children were born with the disease. The purpose of the experiment was to see how damaging the disease was. The patient wasn’t considered done until they were dead. Small pox, syphilis, HIV, crack cocaine, the U.S. will do anythin to get rid of the minority. It’s totally pathetic and disgusting. Hence the reason I almost rarely put anythin past the U.S. government. And people wonder why black people are so distrustful of the government – that’s because they know what happened to the “trusting” Native Americans.

Steve Jobs had a liver transplant

Accordin to the Wall Street Journal, Steve Jobs had a liver transplant two months ago and is recovering nicely. I see Apple still doesn’t discuss the health of their cash cow. I hope Steve is groomin a replacement for him since it sounds like his cancer is startin to spread. I don’t mean to be all doom and gloom…but Jobs doesn’t have much time. Hell, most people that get a successful liver transplant live only for about 5 more years. He still has the cancer to fight too. Has he started a foundation yet or started donating his money to any research? I recall that Jobs wasn’t too big on givin his money away. Apple does have a (RED) line which donates money to countries in Africa to combat AIDS/HIV. Hmmm, maybe that’s what Jobs has and this cancer is just a front. Anyways, until someone can tell me somethin nice about Steve Jobs the man, I still don’t care for him.

Japanese boy comes to US for heart transplant

What’s really good with the Japanese? Kids under the age of 15 can’t donate organs? What a fuckin tragedy. Now we have this kid who almost suffered the same fate as his sister did. How crazy is that for the parents to have two kids with a rare (1 outta 100,000 people have it) disease? I think that it’s totally amazing that they were able to raise over a million dollars to help get their son a new heart. I can’t even generate $1,000 on my blog site to help get me a new website!!! I HATE MY READERS!!! Non promoting ass readers!!! Just kiddin, I love you guys. It’s my bank account that hates you.

Steve Jobs is sick, no duh

Steve Jobs is takin a leave of absence from Apple until June so that he can focus on his health. I guess the old sayin “an apple a day keeps the doctor away” isn’t true. While this news may not be a shock to anyone from Earth, I still think that the man is puttin up more of a front than he needs to. And I guess for good reason. Does anyone have faith in Apple once Jobs leaves? It was pretty much his insight that has brought them back to the powerhouse they are, so I would think once Steve leaves the company so will the shareholders. I mean stocks dip every time he talks about his health. I kinda find it ironic that Macs are known to be bug and virus free…That would be a good PC commercial: “Hi I’m a mac”, “I’m a PC”. “Macs are known for never crashing due to viruses”, “Too bad the same can’t be said for your CEO.” End commercial.
