Job fair in Dodgers' stadium

This past weekend, Dodgers stadium opened up to host a job fair in Los Angeles. An estimated 10,000 people showed up to meet with 90 employers. I don’t what I’ve done right in my past life, but I am extremely thankful for the job I have now. I would be so homeless right now due to my lack of savings. Anyways, life really sucks for a lot of people right now and I hope that Obama’s plan eases the pain. Like I’ve said before, just because it doesn’t directly affect you, doesn’t mean it’s not your problem. I guess the reason it’s become such a real concern is because it’s not just the “lazy” blacks that are unemployed. This brings me to another issue, granted some niggas are lazy; there are some white people that are just as lazy. And considering the fact that blacks broke their backs developing this country for 100+ years, I think they’ve accrued enough vacation time.

Time to update the resume

It must suck workin for a company that says it’s gonna cut 35,000 jobs in three years. At least they give you a head start before they gun you down. That’s the memo comin outta Bank of America (America’s Bank. You like that motto? I think they should use it for ’09). The “successful” merger (the one that rude boi rasclot John Thain wanted a $10 milli bonus for) has resulted in some overlap in jobs, like with any merger. So some will be let go, but it will be a slow bleed instead of instant hemorrhage. It must be a very humbling experience to go from takin family trips to Europe to trips to Uncle Danny in the slums of D.C.
