Does government beget violence?

Hm, Emily Chang can play with my wang anytime. Rude? Yes. Do I apologize? No. But it’s good to hear that religion can separate men so far to the point that even if you look like me, I’ll still kill you because your god is different. It’s totally pathetic. I mean, what religion promotes violence against others to begin with? It’s these terrible governments and the terrible hearts of men. Instead of offerin protection for everyone and creatin propaganda that resolves differences, everyone holds to their guns (pun intended) and tries to make life miserable for anyone who doesn’t share their religious views. I mean it happens here all the time. I don’t understand why a government would want to keep their people separated. It only leads to senseless violence. Why don’t governments approach their jobs as a way to unify their community, state, or country? Since when has it been wrong for someone in power to change their views and encompass a little bit of what everyone wants? And I do know that there are some politicians that do so, but why not all of them? Why do they have to get on their own agenda? Why do they have to talk to the media and twist things around so that they look like a hero to their select followers instead of a hero for all people? This shit in China? If the government properly stepped in and addressed the needs of the Uyghur, they wouldn’t be rioting. Listen, I know that you can’t please everyone and you can’t make all the changes that are needed. What I don’t understand is why they turn miniscule things into things against their morals and values. With the exception of abortion, I don’t see how Dems and Reps can’t work together better. It’s not like one group promotes murder, stealing, and raping while the other group is against it. I need my own island ASAP; I can’t deal with governing bodies anymore.

Survey of results for elections in Iran prove inconsistant

Looks like supporters of Mir Hossein Moussavi aren’t gonna stop till Iran burns to the ground…or they get killed. This is one thing you can count from the police – riot, regular, Iranian, American – if they tell you to do somethin (like turn around and leave, shut up, sit down, anythin) you better listen. Cops like to beat people up. They work so hard and deal with so much shit that they PRAY someone would get outta line so they can fuck em up. I need to sign up and become a cop and find out what kinda training they get that causes them to be so violent. I understand they have to look out for their safety and the safety of others, but damn they be goin too hard. Anyways, there might be hope for the Iranian protesters. An independent survey of the election results shows huge discrepancies in voting patterns. 4 main observations that were made are:

• In two conservative provinces, Mazandaran and Yazd, a turnout of more than 100 percent was recorded.
• At a provincial level, there is no correlation between the increased turnout and the swing to Ahmadinejad. This challenges the notion that his announced victory was due to the massive participation of a previously silent conservative majority.
• In a third of all provinces, the official results would require that Ahmadinejad had received not only all former conservative voters, all former centrist voters and all new voters but also up to 44 percent of former reformist voters -- despite a decade of conflict between these two groups.
• In the 2005 election, as in the elections of 2001 and 1997, conservative candidates -- and Ahmadinejad in particular -- were markedly unpopular in rural areas. That makes it "highly implausible" that the countryside swung substantially toward Ahmadinejad.

So the protestin might not have been vain. But who has the final say? If nothin changes, will the people riot till the next election? I wonder what America woulda done if Obama didn’t win. After the Bush-Gore debacle would Americans have rose up and against the government if McCain won in a landslide? I think we need a couple riots of our own…not because I think Obama is doin a bad job, but I could use a new flat screen.

Iran is still burning

More chaos in Iran as the riots over the election results continue. I think it’s particularly sad that this is still goin on. The days of students standin up to the government’s militia or military or police are long gone! I wish they would think of a smarter way to stick it to the government because gettin your head bashed in with a metal baton is NOT THE WAY! And that’s all that will happen. They won’t arrest everyone. They won’t do a recount. The U.S. won’t step in for you. You’ll just lay there, bloody in the streets as others retreat or walk over you. I’m readin reports and blogs from people in Iran and it’s kinda disheartening but I kinda lose sympathy for them. They complain about the ass whuppin that the police is givin out but yet they still are rioting. Violence begets violence, it’s that simple. And the Iranian police are no joke. Seriously, I think everyone’s police outside of America are the huskiest, toughest, meanest lookin muthafuckas out there. I remember bein in Nigeria and seein their police…not someone I wanna catch a beatin from.

Iran protests elections

There is some bad news (or good dependin your side) in Iran this past weekend. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has been reelected in a landslide victory over his main challenger, Mir Hossein Moussavi. The debate that comes in is that Moussavi was thought to be a clear winner with all the analysis and predictions in his favor…but then he got STOMPED OUT (Ahmadinejad got 66% of the votes) and lost. So of course people are protestin and riotin and what not. Kinda reminds me of how the former President stole the elections minus the violence in the streets. I guess Mahmoud shoulda took a page outta the GOP handbook on stealing elections and made sure that it appeared he won by a slim margin. Now people are demandin a recount which most likely won’t happen because the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has already acknowledged Ahmadinejad as the winner. The real crazy part is how the government has clamped down on any news coverage of what’s goin on in Iran right now. Even websites like Twitter have been shut down. All this has aroused suspicion that the elections were rigged. Could you imagine if that went down in the U.S.? McCain beat Obama in a landslide victory and then our government limited news coverage on the protests that occurred? Actually, I’m pretty sure the international community wouldn’t bat an eye. I mean, they would be upset to know another Republican took the office but I don’t think they would protest for us nor would any world leaders look into a recount for us. Kinda sad. I wish the best for Iran but like I’ve said before, I want them to achieve what they want on their own terms and without international interference.

Bad ass white kids

In Greece, there are riots over the shooting death of a teenager by someone on the elite police corps. Young rascals, callin themselves the “the knowns-unknowns” (gotta love the Bush Administration for the best quotes in history), have been takin their anger to the streets. Supposedly it all started when a bunch of kids started pelleting the cops, and one 16 year old decided to take it too far by attemptin to throw a homemade bomb at them. So a cop shot his dumb ass. But the cop got charged for manslaughter with intent. Huh? I thought it was self-defense. Because I don’t care how old you are. If a 5 year old came running at me with a knife in his hand, I’ma drop kick the lil sonvabitch. Cuz I hate kids, especially ones whose father is a French billionaire.
